LEAD U Summer Institute

The LEAD U Summer Institute ran June 24 – July 23 in partnership with Camp College, Tidewater Community College, and Regent University. Over five weeks, students trained in leadership and entrepreneurship, worked real client projects in arts & design, and explored careers alongside mentors and industry professionals.

Weekly sessions paired classroom learning with hands-on studio time. Students pitched ventures, built brand campaigns, produced short films and social content, and practiced the communication skills that carry into college interviews and internships.

More than 40 students were served across the summer, supported by three campus partners and a growing network of community sponsors. Four scholarships were awarded, totaling more than $3,000 given back to students.
